I love Whole Foods. Who would of guessed with my constant posts on social media? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Let’s be honest, it’s a magical place where you can wander for hours: browsing through seasonal products, trying samples, talking to the cheese experts(maybe that’s just me).

Regardless, one fine day I wandered across the Whole Beauty section.

Let me preface: I don’t tend to have break outs or skin issues, but the MINUTE I put a non natural product on my face (ahem, Neutrogena face wash), I’ll break out. So I’ve been searching for something that agrees with my skin. And does good things for it along the way.

Long story short: I started trying different natural products at Whole Foods and found that I really liked them. The ingredients are natural and leave my skin feeling hydrated, healthy, and glowing. I never thought myself as a person to buy beauty products from a grocery store. (I would usually purchase overpriced, chemical-y department store products.) Alas, I now almost exclusively buy natural beauty products from Whole Foods.

NOW I can’t leave Whole Foods Market (WFM) without checking out new items in the beauty section. I can’t. I go to Whole Foods Market every single day… and I now go to their beauty isle.. every single day. lol. That being said, there’s a WFM beauty sale from 3/22 (today) to 3/28 and it’s a dang good one. All face care and cosmetics are 25% off – even on sale items!

Whole Foods Market has most of what you need: from make up removers to eye balms to pigmented eye shadows. Whole Foods Market has high standards for the products that are accepted in their store. Paired with the accuracy of their product labeling, I trust I’m buying products that aren’t bad for my skin. I trust my judgement more shopping there. And I believe they have great products!

They’re offering a Beauty Bag, which gets you all the goodies below for $18. EIGHTEEN DOLLARS. For all that! Usually, I’m skeptical of claims of gift bags being valued at WAY over the sold price, but I’ve done the math. Oh trust me…. I have done the math, people. This Beauty Bag legitimately saves you money, and has some of my favorite products. ( Trust me – I’m all about saving money wherever I can.)

I’ve tried 70% of the products in the beauty bag and LOVE them. Some of my favorites: The Wild Carrot Eye Balm is one of my favorite compact products to carry on flights. The Trilogy Booster Oil is great as a light face moisturizer.

The beauty sale is a superb opportunity to stock up on old favorites and try out some new products at a discount. Here are some of my favorites and what I’m trying out.
I love the Trilogy Everything Balm. It goes on SUPER smooth, is VERY moisturizing, and has quality ingredients like rose hip, echinacea and pawpaw. I’m most excited to try the Acure Marula oil. This oil is packed with vitamin C and anti oxidants. Vitamin C overtime will really help brighten your face. Just try it- you’ll see. ๐Ÿ™‚

Y’all know how much I love the no-make-up-just-lipstick look. Katey even calls the look, “the Radhika.” ๐Ÿ˜› The color of Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon is so vibrant and the product doesn’t dry your lips out. I like the Solar Protective mineral sunscreen. It only has one ingredient and protects from both UVA and UVB rays. It doesn’t leave as much of that white film that most natural sunscreens leave. (I have olive skin so that white film is QUITE obvious.)

Lots of rose in this photo. Because rose is actually this shit. Let’s talk about what we see here.

Witch Hazel is an excellent toner. I usually use it after I get my eyebrows did to reduce skin inflammation. Rosewater with glycerin is great for when you want to refresh and moisturize your face. Recently, Katey has me HOOKED on sheet masks- this one has natural oils that leave your skin super smooth. I won’t, however, be applying it on another Uber ride. (Follow Katey’s Instastory if you don’t know what I’m talking about. She does stuff like this all the time.)

Since my Neutrogena zit experience and countless failure with run -of-the-mill beauty products, I’m the BIGGEST skeptic when it comes to putting things on my face. I now look for products with quality ingredients that are almost good enough to eat. ๐Ÿ™‚ Seriously – I put food-grade avocado oil on my face. I digress. If it works, it works. The simpler the better.

If you’ve never tried natural beauty products, check out the Whole Foods Market beauty sale. Try out a product or two. Let us know what you find & what you like because we’re dying to talk about it and learn more on the whole natural beauty subject.
